Tom Martz, the organizer for the Springfield Tea Party Straw Poll, a part of a greater effort statewide as the first Tea Party Straw Poll in the state of Missouri has announced the results for the Springfield location:

The results are now available for the straw poll Missouri TEA Party groups coordinated over the past week. We consider this straw poll a huge success. Not only because of organized coordinated participation from TEA Party groups from all areas of the state. But also because of the great turn out at each local group’s sponsored location. We have shown that the candidates who rise to the top with the people are not the statists and progressives the general media promotes. This poll was conducted between Thursday Nov 10th and Thursday Nov 17th.

HERMAN CAIN….320 (32%)

RON PAUL….282 (28%)

NEWT GINGRICH….276 (28%)

MITT ROMNEY….32 (3%)

MICHELE BACHMANN…31 (3%)

RICK PERRY….30 (3%)

RICK SANTORUM….13 (1%)

OTHERS….(+/-2%)

An update for the Branson poll from Eric Farris himself:

Locally, the Branson Tea Party Polling Station results had Ron Paul at 53%, Herman Cain at 22% and Newt Gingrich at 22%, Michele Bachman at 2% and Mitt Romney at 1% (1 vote).
